What shouldI eat? LetSpoontaneous.

Your weekly menu, made for you: real recipes, portions that fit your calories and a shopping list that’s already done. You just cook.

Coming to the App Store · iPhone · 8 languages

It’s not another calorie counter. It tells you what to cook, in the right portions for you, and you only buy what’s missing.

How it works

Four steps.
Zero stress.

1

Tell it about you

Goal, diet, allergies, how much time you have and what’s in your kitchen. In two minutes Spoontaneous works out your calories and macros, and explains how.

2

The menu plans itself

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the whole week, picked from 553 recipes. Swap a dish and the rest of the day rebalances on its own.

3

Shopping, already done

The list comes from your menu, sorted by aisle, minus what you already have. It even tells you what you’ll spend, using real receipt prices.

4

Just cook

Short steps, times and temperatures, grams already worked out for you. Tap “I ate it” and your day updates.

Features

Everything you need.
Nothing more.

An assistant that cooks with what you have

“Make me a pasta with the speck in my fridge.” It writes a new recipe with your products, works out everything, and you put it on any day of your menu.

It knows your products

Barcode, receipt photo or search by name: even branded products become ingredients in your recipes.

The right shopping, priced

Buy only what’s missing. The estimate uses real prices from receipts.

Real numbers

Calories and nutrients calculated from official USDA data or the product label. Never guessed.

553 recipes, 8 languages

Italian, Mediterranean and world dishes, in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic.

Your cookbook

Write your own recipes or create them with the assistant: with your photo, under “My recipes”, ready for your menu.

A menu that adapts

Swap a dish, lock another, log what you ate: the day’s portions recalculate to keep you within your calories.

Nutrition data: USDA FoodData Central (public domain). Packaged products and prices: Open Food Facts and Open Prices (ODbL). Recipes are generated and then checked by the software: doses, allergens, food safety.

For two

Same dinner.
Different portions.

Invite the person you live with using a code. One menu, but each of you gets portions based on your own calories.

  • One menu, two people, portions that fit
  • One shopping list for the home
  • See your numbers or the couple’s
  • Health data stays personal
FAQ

The short answers.

Is it free?
Yes, you can use it for free: weekly menu, recipes, shopping list. Some advanced features (recipe assistant, photos, for two) will be part of Premium, with a 7-day free trial.
Do I have to weigh everything?
No. The app gives you the portions, grams already calculated. Weigh only if you want to be precise: for pasta, rice and meat we also tell you the cooked weight.
Where do the calories come from?
From official USDA data (the US Department of Agriculture’s public database) or the product label. The software calculates them from grams: they are never eyeballed.
Does it work with allergies or a special diet?
Yes: vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, no pork, no alcohol and the 14 main allergens. Recipes that don’t suit you are never suggested. For packaged products, always check the label.
Does it replace a dietitian?
No. Spoontaneous helps you plan meals with serious estimates, but it isn’t a medical service. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or have an eating disorder, talk to a professional.
What happens to my data?
It stays yours: no ads, no selling data. The server is in Europe (Frankfurt). You can export it or delete your account anytime from the app. Details in the privacy policy.
